We are expanding our team and we would love for you to apply. We are a close knit team with an abundance of talent. We are looking for fun loving, dedicated and talented hair professionals to come join the amazing Curl Power team.

As a stylist at Curl Power you must be committed to serving the full spectrum of natural hair textures and have a desire to learn more. A team player attitude is a must. We have each other’s backs when it comes to helping one another with daily tasks. Previous experience with a spectrum of textures is a plus. Knowledge of the Wella color line also a major plus!

Hairstylist Duties and Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly consult with clients to make their curly hair dreams come true

  • Wash and condition client’s hair.

  • Cut, color, process, and style client’s hair according to the consultation.

  • Cultivate relationships with clients and empower their curl journey.

  • Keep scissors sharp, tools sanitized, station clean and sanitized and all equipment in good condition.

  • Willingness to assist teammates

  • Driven to continue learning and honing skills

Hairstylist Requirements and Qualifications

  • Current Minnesota cosmetology license

  • Passion for cutting, styling hair and coloring the full textures spectrum -hair.

  • Excellent communication, listening, and problem-solving skills.

  • Attention to detail
