  • Yes, we show our stylists’ work on our Instagram profile and Facebook page. Additionally our stylists each curate their own unique Instagram profiles.

Hair Questions

  • Under New Client Services, we offer a range of services that are tailored to clients who have never been to Curl Power/received a curly centric service. These services include in depth consultation, and a treatment for your curls. Give us a call if you have any questions about our New Client Services.  

    PLEASE TAKE NOTE: Starting prices are a base price for color services. The quote for your color service will be determined at your consultation. Depending on what color service you are getting done and the density and texture of your hair, the price is subject to change. Please schedule a consultation if you have questions about pricing prior to your color appointment. Thank you so much for understanding.

  • Curls are naturally bouncy and stretchy. When you wet, comb through and straighten curls, as with wet hair cutting, it is impossible to know how much a curl will spring up as it dries. We cut without combs or using tension to let each curl express itself naturally. By leaving the curl dry we can see the natural silhouette and length of the haircut as we shape it, and so can you.

  • Consultations are an essential step at the beginning of each scheduled service. The majority of services do not require a separately booked consultation as they are already included. If you have special concerns prior to booking about the cost of your color service or the health of your hair, please book a separate complimentary consultation and hair health evaluation. Our receptionists can help you determine if a separate consultation is needed.

    Please note that as consultations are complementary, they may be moved to make room for other services at the stylist’s discretion.

  • Yes, the prices are the same no matter the hair length with the exception of a full clipper cut.

 

Booking

  • Online booking through the Vagaro salon system is available to schedule appointments.

    You may also call the salon during business hours. Credit card information is required to hold all appointments when booking online or over the phone. Our stylists have varying schedules and may book up several weeks in advance. Please call the salon or check online for last minute availability. Pre-booking is recommended to ensure we can accommodate you. Thank you for your understanding.

  • Our stylists have varying availability and hours. Some of our stylists may be booked out several weeks. We encourage you to connect with your stylist on Instagram as some may announce last minute openings on Instagram as they occur. We encourage all of our guests to pre-book for future appointments at check-out to ensure booking their optimal appointment time and maintenance on their hair. Please contact the salon directly to be placed on the waitlist after booking a future appointment if you would like to get in sooner, or if you see last minute availability. We appreciate your understanding.

  • ALL appointment bookings are handled through the online booking system Vagaro or by phone with our receptionist. All other business inquiries are handled through email at connect@curlpowersalon.com or you may always call the salon with questions.

  • The appointment time requested has been filled and is no longer available. Vagaro will suggest the next available appointment. Please book a later appointment and call the salon to request being put on a waitlist or cancellation list. We will reach out first to clients that have future appointments booked. 

  • The online booking scheduler allows booking depending on how long the service will be. If it is not allowing you to book, please choose another day and/or time.

  • If you DO NOT receive a confirmation, there is NO APPOINTMENT booked for you. Please complete the booking online or call the salon. We hope to see you soon!
